A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers! I recently discovered Coastal coffee Roasters and I can't stop raving about it! This charming little spot is a coffee lover's dream, especially since they roast their own beans right on-site. The aroma hits you as soon as you walk in, and it's simply divine. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I tried their lattes and espresso beans and they are rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the difference that freshly roasted beans make! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. I can't wait to go back and try more of their coffee & pastries! P.S. on Friday’s they have the most amazing huge cinnamon rolls!
I am in several times a week for networking purposes. The staff who work there are all just super nice! If you go in a lot they know what your drink is which I like! They always have a variety of fresh baked pastries which I love. I am a baker so I don't always want to bake for myself. So, when I am craving scones or whatever I go there to get my fix! I highly recommend the blueberry scone! It is my favorite! Their coffee is really good especially their Mocha. You can also get bags of ground/or whole bean coffee so you can enjoy your favorite coffee at home!
This is the best coffee shop around. We do not live local, but come to Coastal every time were in town. The coffee is hot, freshly roasted and you can taste the difference. The pastries are homemade and delicious. The blueberry scones have fresh blueberries in them and are bursting with flavor. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating on a beautiful morning is just icing on the cake. This is a must stop for all your morning/ mid morning/ afternoon needs.
Adequate staff for the fairly busy shop. I like the addition of local products. I came in two days in a row. The first day to try my first ever cruffin and the second for the cinnamon roll! They both were giant and absolutely delicious!! What a local treasure!! The iced espresso was strong and refreshing!! Thank you for starting my day well!!
Have been getting coffee beans here since Brad first opened. Best coffee beans from all over the world and roasted to perfection there on site. Great place to meet people, enjoy tasty food with great service. Definitely has helped make Summerville a better place to live with Coastal Coffee highly involved in the community. It's the place to be.
The BEST coffee shop in Summerville. Everything is freshly made and it shows. Nothing here is from a big box store and repackaged. We both order bagels for breakfast. My mouth is watering typing this remembering how delicious my sandwich was. We got a dessert to go which was a perfect snack later that evening. The coffee came out HOT. Just hot enough to let it cool for a moment while I ate my first few bites. The restaurant is clean and well kept up. The employees are all very friendly and seem happy to be there. Sooooo many coffee varieties and opens and even to bring some home to brew.
I love it here! I usually get the classic sandwich with an iced latte. Today, Kylie was amazing and if you ever come here she has impeccable customer service, I didn’t realize what I ordered and I asked if there was any way we could adjust it and she immediately said yes and made the BEST latte I have and will now be forever my drink from here! Iced Vanilla Cinnamon Mix and Powder Latte, YUM! Anyway, please see Kylie at costal coffee roasters she’s amazing and always makes my day!
Have been receiving coffee beans from here via my family for a while now. I particularly enjoy the Sexy Seven beans. Was delighted to visit there when I went to see my family and we enjoyed breakfast and coffee there...and of course picked up more coffee beans (they are all great.) Cafe has an unpretentious and chill vibe with people from all walks of life there, so it’s lively and busy. I suspect it could be a bit difficult to find a table depending on what time you go. This is a family friendly place and I think that it would be fairly accessible for those who struggle with mobility. Parking is not an issue. We enjoyed breakfast there, having the hippie with egg and the breakfast BLT. We also sampled a scone that was fresh and delicious. It was great to finally visit and see where my coffee has been coming from. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend for their coffee and breakfast! Hope to return again. (And there is a nice little vintage store that has just opened next door....so it’s nice to have a little wander around there and see what treasures they have!)
